These events bring together practice leaders, policy makers, providers, and patient representatives to work on a pressing quality challenge in Ontario’s cancer system. CQCO signature events are held in partnership with Cancer Care Ontario.

June 2010 Report - Modern Care for Modern Patients, Innovating and Supporting Care for 21st Century Patients

This report proposes recommendations for a new patient-centred model of care framework with input from the December 2009 Signature Event, Innovative Models of Care: Why are we using 19th century medical models for 21st century patients? and the June 2009 Signature Event Using technology to improve the patient experience in cancer care.  

Fall 2009 Event – Innovative Models of Care: Why are we using 19th century medical models for 21st century patients?

The Fall 2009 Signature Event was held on December 2, 2009. The event looked at how innovative models of care, and their system-level enablers, may provide solutions to the key challenges of providing patient-centered care in a system of growing economic and health human resource pressures.

Held June 8, 2009, the 5th Signature Event focused on how technology can be used to improve the patient experience in cancer care by transforming the care delivery model and empowering patient connections and navigation.
