Cancer Care Ontario uses a variety of strategies to put the best available cancer knowledge in the hands of health professionals, organizations and policy makers so that, together, they can prevent cancer and do the best job caring for patients.

The responsibility for developing and implementing knowledge transfer and exchange strategies is shared across the organization. In 2007, CCO created an organization-wide program committee to better coordinate the organization’s knowledge transfer and exchange activity. Currently, a Knowledge Transfer and Exchange Office supports the organization’s knowledge transfer and exchange activity.
