Ontario is building a solid information management infrastructure capable of supporting a fully integrated cancer system. Together with advances in information technology, our cancer data will help health care providers and patients make better-informed treatment decisions and navigate more easily through the cancer system.
Current data holdings
Cancer Care Ontario’s data holdings store information collected from cancer service providers across the province. This information enables us to plan and fund cancer services, develop guidelines, and monitor and manage the performance of the cancer system.
