iPort™ is CCO’s secure, web-based analytic tool that provides planners and policy-makers with instant access to clear and accurate provincial and LHIN level cancer information.

At present, iPort™ provides historic, current and year 2020 projected data on cancer incidence and prevalence rates, mortality and survival statistics, patient treatment activity and new drug funding information.

More than 200 cancer planners, managers and providers have direct online access to iPort™, enabling them to review or generate specially needed data reports.

The future of iPort™

When fully developed, iPort™ will provide “one window” access to reliable information about every aspect of the activities being carried out in the Ontario cancer system continuum, from prevention efforts through palliative care. All individual-linked information is securely maintained and protected to the uppermost levels of patient confidentiality rules.

Cancer Care Ontario is currently migrating the existing Ontario Cancer Registry data and tools to our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) that supports iPort™. This will create one authoritative source of information about all aspects of cancer prevention and care that can be used to enhance planning and clinical programs for patients.
