Cancer Care Ontario is grounded in research and evidence, and a commitment to shaping the future of health care in Ontario.

In its role as an agency of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Cancer Care Ontario manages three cancer screening programs (breast, cervical, colorectal) with the goal of preventing cancer or finding it early when there is a better chance of successful treatment.

Ontario Breast Screening Program

Letters about breast cancer screening are mailed to eligible women ages 50 to 74.

Ontario Cervical Screening Program

Letters about cervical cancer screening are mailed to eligible women ages 21 to 69.

Colon Cancer Check

Letters about colorectal cancer screening are mailed to eligible men and women ages 50 to 74.
