About the London Regional Cancer Program
The London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) at London Health Sciences Centre is the regional cancer centre serving residents within the South West region of Ontario. The program has been providing the highest quality care to patients and their families for more than 50 years. With over 21,000 active patients, and over 185,000 visits annually, LRCP is the largest cancer service provider in the region.
The program offers inpatient and outpatient cancer care including radiation therapy and chemotherapy as well as a full range of support services to help cancer patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
Cancer Care Ontario Regional Vice President, South West Regional Cancer Program
Neil Johnson has spent over 25 years at London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care London as a pharmacist and health care leader. Neil brings a wealth of experience, including tenure as an oncology and palliative care pharmacist. A recognized leader in advancing integrated systems, Neil has worked with regional partners such as the South West Community Care Access Centre and Thames Valley Family Health Team to develop a range of innovative programs and initiatives to improve patient care. He has served as the vice chair of St Joseph's Hospice of London and Middlesex and a board member of both, Western Pro Resp and the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. A pharmacist by training, Neil also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and he is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
