About the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre
Since it opened in Kitchener in September 2003, the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre has been taking care of cancer patients served by the Waterloo Wellington Regional Cancer Program, which covers an area with a population of more than 700,000. Located in the Grand River Hospital’s Balsillie Family Building, this four-storey, 98,000-square foot facility is a full-service cancer centre and the largest provider of systemic treatment and cancer surgery in the region.
